Following the announcement of the 2024 Gaddar Telangana Film Awards (GTFA), the Telangana government has taken a significant step by recognizing exceptional contributions to Telugu cinema spanning the last decade.
In a press conference, veteran actor and jury chairman Murali Mohan, alongside TFDC Chairman and renowned producer Dil Raju, unveiled a retrospective list of award-winning films released between June 2, 2014 — the formation day of Telangana — and December 31, 2023.
Murali Mohan stated that the jury evaluated all Telugu films certified by the Censor Board from the inception of Telangana. For each year within this period, three films were honored as the Best Feature Films, highlighting the creative evolution and impact of Telugu cinema.
Additionally, six prominent personalities were recognized with special honors for their extraordinary contributions to the industry.
