'FIR' and 'Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain!' Actor Ishwar Thakur Admitted to ICU

Actor Ishwar Thakur, widely known for his roles in popular comedy shows like FIR and Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain!, is currently in critical condition and admitted to the ICU at a hospital in Thane, Maharashtra, due to severe kidney-related complications.

His sister, Jayashree, opened up to media about their ordeal, revealing that the family's savings have been completely exhausted. She shared that everything started in 2020, three months before the COVID-19 lockdown, with a wound on his leg. Because he has diabetes, the wound didn't heal, and the infection eventually spread throughout his body. Since this week his condition deteriorated sharply, and they rushed him to the hospital, where he has remained unresponsive. His sister said that they have spent all their savings on his care and can no longer afford the expenses, making an urgent plea for help.

She further shared that while Ishwar had previously recovered from a fatty liver condition triggered by the initial infection, his health problems flared up again. FIR and Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain! team supported them as much as they could, and his co-stars stepped in as well, with actor Kavita Kaushik making an appeal for financial aid. Jayashree noted that it is only because of their support that they have managed his treatment so far.

According to reports, Ishwar has been battling severe health issues and a financial crisis since 2022. Due to his kidney disease, he suffered from leg swelling and incontinence. His family is struggling to afford basic medical necessities like diapers. While industry colleagues and the Sonu Sood Foundation provided support during that period, his family is now facing a fresh financial breakdown as his condition turns critical.

The 54-year-old unmarried actor lives with his mother and his younger sister, Jayashree, who has been his primary caregiver throughout his prolonged illness.
