Echoes of Earth Turns 10: Celebrating a Decade of Music, Art, Nature, Culture & Shared Experiences
That spirit of discovery continues into its 10th year, with Echoes of Earth entering a new chapter at a new home at the foothills of Nandi Hills.
Ten years ago, Echoes of Earth began with a belief in the power of music, art, nature and culture to shape how people experience the world. Music became a universal language of connection, art a form of creative expression, nature a reminder to care for the world around us, and culture a way to bring people and ideas together. As Echoes of Earth turns 10, it celebrates the people, experiences and shared moments that have shaped its journey, and a community that continues to grow with every edition.
That spirit of discovery continues into its 10th year, with Echoes of Earth entering a new chapter at a new home at the foothills of Nandi Hills. Taking place on 5th and 6th December, the anniversary edition opens up a larger canvas for the Echoes experience, creating more room for music, art, discovery and connection, while welcoming an even wider audience into its world.
At the heart of the 10th edition is Arteries of Life, a celebration of India’s river ecosystems and a reminder of the need to protect these vital lifelines. The theme unfolds through music, art and immersive experiences, bringing the story of India’s rivers into the heart of the festival.
Roshan Netalkar, Founder & Festival Director of Echoes of Earth, said: “From the beginning, we believed India could create a music festival with global relevance and lasting cultural impact. We remained committed to that vision and built Echoes of Earth steadily, year after year, edition after edition.
Reaching our 10th edition is a significant milestone. To see a festival born in India earn global recognition is immensely gratifying, but this achievement belongs to everyone who has been part of the journey: our audiences, artists, partners, media, and community whose belief and support have shaped Echoes over the years.
This year, on a new canvas, Echoes enters its next chapter: larger in scale, richer in experience, and unmistakably true to its identity. The 10th edition celebrates everything that has brought us here while looking ahead to everything that lies beyond.”
A Decade of Discovery, A New Soundscape
Music has always been at the heart of Echoes of Earth. For its 10th edition, four uniquely designed stages bring together a multi genre lineup from India and around the world, creating a constantly evolving soundscape built for discovery.
The international lineup brings together artists with distinctive sounds and stories. Washington D.C. duo Thievery Corporation, celebrating 30 years, makes its Asia debut at Echoes with a new album, blending dub, bossa nova, Indian classical influences and global sounds.
The Yussef Dayes Experience returns to Echoes, bringing its distinctive take on jazz, shaped by West African rhythms, Caribbean influences and UK grime. Hamburg based MEUTE makes its India debut, reimagining techno through live brass and percussion.
Parra for Cuva returns following his 2024 performance, weaving organic instrumentation and global textures into emotive electronic soundscapes. Thai multidisciplinary artist NOTEP brings together electronic music, traditional instruments and field recordings, rooted in environmental storytelling.
Lubiana draws from the kora and her African heritage, exploring themes of feminism, humanity and our relationship with nature. Manchester's HENGE brings its cosmic world of space rock, performed by its quartet of extraterrestrial characters.
Celebrating a decade of their own, When Chai Met Toast marks the occasion with a special anniversary set, while Dutch producer Joris Voorn makes his Echoes debut with his signature style of blending house techno and melodic sounds.
The wider lineup features Weval, Arjun Vagale B2B Anyasa, Sweely, Hearthug, Fish56Octagon, Sound Therapy ft. Calm Chor, Life Enjoyer's Club, Elvis Lobo, Ranjit Arapurakal, Curtain Blue, Monophonik, Ulloo, Tamil Jazz Collective, Hashbass, Film B2B Rafiki, Answer, Alboe, Tristan Bres, Sakré, Syeyl, Kandy Kuri B2B Bombie and Kamari, adding further layers to an eclectic weekend.
The invitation for the 10th edition is simple: come to discover. Find an artist you do not know, hear a sound you did not expect, or stumble upon a stage and stay longer than planned. Across the weekend, established names, emerging voices and unexpected musical encounters will come together to create a soundscape that rewards curiosity.
Art as a Celebration of Nature
At Echoes, art will continue to evoke emotion and deepen our connection with the natural world. Through Arteries of Life, artists will draw inspiration from India’s rivers and water ecosystems, transforming reclaimed and repurposed materials into creative expressions that invite audiences to experience nature through a different lens.
Bringing the Vision to Life
The 10th edition continues to be supported by partners who share Echoes’ vision of bringing together culture, creativity, community and responsible celebration.
Speaking on the occasion, Vineet Sharma, Vice President – Marketing, AB InBev India, said: “At Corona, we've always believed that some of the best experiences happen when people slow down, step away from their routines and spend more time outdoors. That's why Echoes of Earth has been such a natural partnership for us over the years. As India's greenest circular music and lifestyle festival, Echoes brings together music, creativity and sustainability in a way that reflects many of the values we stand for as a brand.
Having partnered with the festival for the last eight years, we've seen it grow into one of India's most distinctive cultural platforms. We're proud to continue supporting an experience that inspires people to disconnect from the everyday, reconnect with nature, and enjoy music in a setting that feels authentic and meaningful.”
Sharing his thoughts on the partnership, Inderjit Singh Dhingra, General Manager – Brown Spirits (India) at Bacardi India Pvt Ltd., said: "At Dewar’s, we believe that the most memorable stories begin with a discovery. Echoes of Earth has created a distinctive cultural platform that brings together creativity, nature and conscious living in a way that inspires exploration and meaningful connections. We are proud to partner with a festival that shares our belief in celebrating curiosity, craftsmanship and enriching experiences.”
Together, we look forward to creating moments that encourage audiences to discover new perspectives, connect with culture in meaningful ways, and create unforgettable stories of their own."
