Coolie vs. War 2: Box Office Clash Looms with No Ticket Price Hike in Telangana

Superstar Rajinikanth's Coolie and the Jr. NTR-Hrithik Roshan starrer War 2 are gearing up for a theatrical release this week. The trailers for both films have raised expectations, as all three actors enjoy a massive fan following nationwide.
Amid concerns from Telugu distributors about ticket pricing, it has been confirmed that there will be no ticket price increase in Telangana for either War 2 or Coolie. While there is no hike in Telangana, the Andhra Pradesh government may issue a Government Order (GO) on ticket prices shortly, as per a request made by the teams of the two movies.
It remains to be seen how much the films will earn on their opening day without the benefit of a ticket price hike in Telangana.
Directed by Lokesh, Coolie is set to hit the big screens on August 14, 2025.
War 2, helmed by Ayan Mukerji and featuring Kiara Advani as the female lead, will also be released in theaters on August 14, 2025.
The stage is set for an epic box office clash. It remains to be seen which film will emerge as the box office hit of the month.
