Seasoned star Chiranjeevi believes his fans admire him more for his humanitarian work than for his on-screen performances. Speaking at a special event organized for the Chiranjeevi Blood Bank, the actor shared heartfelt sentiments and a powerful story that underscores the deep emotional connection he shares with his followers.

“I don’t react to negativity on social media or in public forums because I know my fans will protect me,” Chiranjeevi said, adding that over 1,000 fans were donating blood as part of the day’s special drive. “Blood is life-saving and sometimes rare. It’s truly a noble effort. I feel immense joy knowing that I’ve inspired my fans to contribute to meaningful causes rather than simply rallying for my popularity or films,” he said.

He also recounted an emotional moment involving a woman from Rajahmundry who publicly defended him after a politician made disparaging remarks. “When asked why she supported me so strongly, she told the media I was like a saviour to her family. Her son had received platelets from the Chiranjeevi Blood Bank, which saved his life. She said she admired me more for my service than for my films. That truly made my day,” he recalled.

Addressing his fans, Chiranjeevi encouraged them to focus on positivity and service. “I believe in continuing to do good deeds without being distracted by criticism. That’s the path I’ve chosen,” he said. He also acknowledged the support of fans around the globe who are participating in blood donation efforts. “Our good work earns us respect and credibility,” he added.

On the Work Front
Chiranjeevi is gearing up for the release of his much-anticipated socio-fantasy film Vishwambhara, in which he battles celestial forces to protect his lover. He is also working on a family entertainer directed by Anil Ravipudi and is in discussions for a few other projects.
