Chiranjeevi condemned the AI-morphed video featuring Janhvi Kapoor and said he will seek action against those creating and spreading such content.

Megastar Chiranjeevi has condemned the AI-generated version of the song “Chuttamalle” from Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor-starrer “Devara: Part 1”, calling the misuse of artificial intelligence to create degrading and morphed content “cruel, shameful and completely unacceptable”.

The video, which circulated widely on social media before being taken down, allegedly used footage of Janhvi Kapoor from the song and digitally altered it to create sexually explicit content. Jr NTR had earlier condemned the video and said he would pursue legal action against those responsible.

Joining the calls for action, Chiranjeevi said the issue was not limited to one individual or film and urged people not to remain silent about AI-generated abuse.

In a statement on X, Chiranjeevi said, “I am deeply disturbed by the use of AI to create degrading and morphed videos of a woman. Such acts are cruel, shameful and completely unacceptable. I strongly condemn them.”

Chiranjeevi said he would take up the matter with the Telugu Film Chamber, Producers’ Council and other industry bodies. He proposed the formation of a dedicated committee and support cell to assist people affected by AI-generated abuse.

He also called for coordination with cybercrime authorities to help remove such content and pursue legal action against those responsible.

“Those who create such content and those who deliberately spread or amplify it must be held accountable under the law. This cannot be dismissed as a joke or treated as entertainment,” he said.

The actor added that the Telugu film industry needs to come together to address the misuse of AI and create stronger mechanisms to support victims of digitally manipulated content.
