BTS V’s Emotional Instagram Post Sparks Yeontan Memories Among ARMY

Bangtan (BTS) member Kim Taehyung, also known as V, recently shared an Instagram post from his overseas schedule that left ARMYs feeling emotional.
In the post he shared a photo and video of a dog but what caught the attention of fans was the song he added to the post.
The song was "I wish you were there," after which the fans started pointing out someone who is very special to Taehyung (V).
Subsequently, fans became emotional and started thinking about his late pet, Yeontan.
Yeontan, was V's adored black and brown Pomeranian, who passed away at the age of seven, on December 4, 2024.
For years, Yeontan was an important part of Taehyung’s life. Due to which ARMY also loved him.
Because of all these reasons, seeing a dog photo with the song “I Wish You Were Here” made many fans think about Yeontan.
At present, BTS is on a ARIRANG World tour, and the members have a cute companion along with them.
The dog in V's post is Stoney Blue, a Goldendoodle who belongs to the tour management team.
Stoney is already familiar to BTS fans as he traveled with the band during their Permission to Dance tour.
He also appeared during j-hope’s Hope on the Street events as well as Suga's D-Day tour.
Since Stoney has an official crew pass, he can be frequently seen backstage. All the crew members of the band have also shared photos of Stoney on social media, due to which he has become a recognizable face to fans.
Because of this many fans shared their emotional reactions on X. They said that the song made the dog photo even more touching and reminded them of Yeontan.
No one knows if V chose the song because he was thinking about Yeontan. But the timing of the post, the photo of the dog, and the emotional song made fans wonder if Taehyung was remembering his little companion.
