Varun Dhawan has his plate full just now
It’s a fact that Varun Dhawan will be busy for over 12 months starting November, after his Maldives vacation ends. But it’s interesting that the actor has ended up rejecting multiple films or pushing back several movie projects.
Varun will start shooting for Jug Jug Jiyo with Kiara Advani, Anil Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor for director Raj Mehta. This will be followed by Amar Kaushik’s horror comedy Bhediya, for which he recently did some test shoots. Varun’s ABCD 2 and Street Dancer heroine Shraddha Kapoor may be paired opposite him in the project, says sources. That will be followed by Sanki for Sajid Nadiadwala and then by Ekkis for Sriram Raghavan.
“So he does not have any breathing space. A multitude of filmmakers, including Raaj Shandilya and some south directors, met him for various projects including remakes, but he cannot allot time for anyone in 2021 at least. So if anyone has to work with Varun in 2022 and can plan now, they are the ones who should be coming to him,” says a source.
