Alia Bhatt reveals why she wants to settle down early in her life
She says that she wouldn't mind getting married early so that she can then continue to focus on her career.
Mumbai: All of 24 years old, Alia Bhatt has already experienced immense success in her career, bagging the best actress award for ‘Udta Punjab’ recently and delivering back-to-back hits since last year.
The actress is not in a mood to let go of this success and wouldn’t even mind getting married early so that she can get done with it and then continue to focus on her career.
When asked if she has plans to become a ‘Dulhania’ soon, after her act in the recent hit, ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’ in an interview with Hindustan Times, Alia said, “I do want to settle down early (in life) because I have an advantage of having started off (in career) very early. That way (getting married), I can get done with it and continue (in my career). Also, I don’t want to settle down too late in life because that also has its own issues. But honestly, I’m not thinking about it or planning as of now.”
Very few actresses have got married in the mid-20s, perhaps thinking about the drying up of offers after marriage, but Alia could be among the first to do so and defy the trend in the film industry.
