Salman Khan to launch his niece Alizeh

Rumour was rife earlier this year that Salman Khan’s niece Alizeh Agnihotri would debut in a film directed by Sooraj Barjatya’s son Avnish, also featuring Sunny Deol’s son Rajvir Deol. It now looks as if Alizeh will be launched sooner, by her parents and uncle.

“Salman had initially wanted Alizeh to be a Rajshri heroine but the family now has a script that will suit Alizeh’s personality. She is not a classic beauty and hence it was important to get the right kind of script and maker for the film,” say sources.

Alizeh had reportedly been taking dance classes from the late Saroj Khan to get the adas right. “She has been preparing for around two years and does not want to just look like another star kid making her debut. She understands that she will be judged and compared and hence was working on a lot of classes through the pandemic. The Khan family is making plans to give her a grand launch in a film based on romance,” the sources say.

Alizeh, who recently completed her graduation from the United Kingdom, had started modelling a while ago, and featured in a jewellery brand earlier this year. She will be the ninth actor from the family after patriarch Salim Khan, Helen, Salman, Sohail and Arbaaz Khan, their brothers in law Atul Agnihotri and Aayush Sharma and Arbaaz’s ex-wife Malaika Arora, to enter Bollywood.
