Abhinav Bindra’s ‘reel dad’ wishes him oh his birthday

Anil Kapoor who is going to play Olympic gold medallist’s father in his biopic, wishes him on his birthday.

Anil Kapoor will be next seen in Fanney Khan, releasing in April 2018 alongside Aishwarya Rai.

Mumbai: Few weeks back Harshavardhan Kapoor announced his next, a biopic on Olympic gold medallist Abhinav Bindra with a picture on Instagram. Soon after reports confirmed that Anil Kapoor would be essaying the role of Abhinav’s father in the movie.

Anil Kapoor recently wished Abhinav Bindra on his birthday with a sweet message on Twitter.

Abhinav won the country's first individual gold medal at the 2008 Beijing Olympics. The biopic is scheduled to go on floors by October and will reportedly focus on the relationship between Abhinav and his father.

It is for the first time that real son-father duo, Harshvardhan and Anil will share screen space for a film. Reports suggest that Anil has already started prepping for his role.

The biopic is titled as 'Bindra' and it will be helmed by director Rajkumar Gupta. It is set to hit the screens some time next year.
