Sonakshi’s fankind lives on

Recently, Sonakshi Sinha met her fan Ashvita from New Zealand through Arjun Kapoor’s sister Anshula Kapoor’s cause-oriented NGO Fankind and she spent the day with her fan at a games arcade and made her day.

 “It is amazing. It is such a fantastic initiative that Anshula has started Fankind, which gives the opportunity for fans to meet their favourite celebrities, but only after contributing to a very special and good cause. They also have their wish and their day is made and a cause is served. Ashvita is such a big fan of mine from New Zealand who has come here. I have spent such a fun day here at the arcade and played so many games with her, so it has been a wonderful experience for me.”

For those who did not know, Anshula was a friend of Sonakshi from her school days and Sonakshi too was keen to do something like a fan interaction for a long time.

“Anshula and I know each other from school days and she had once mentioned to me about such an event that she was planning and I was excited. So, it was a dream come true for me to spend a day with a fan. I had met her for the first time during my Dabangg Bangkok tour and she was crying buckets when she met me and it was a pleasure to spend a day with her,” says Sonakshi.

Well, what Sonakshi did not mention was that she was once allegedly dating Anshula’s elder brother Arjun Kapoor who was her hero in the film Tevar… and well, as long as Sonakshi could make someone’s day and at the same time help an important cause, we think Sonakshi deserves a pat on the back!
