A selfie of the alleged conman Sukesh Chandrashe-khar with actress Jacqueline Fernandez has gone viral. It shows Sukesh planting a kiss on the actress’ cheeks while she seems to be tickled to laughter. During her questioning by the Enforcement Directorate, Jacqueline had denied that she had any romantic liaisons with Sukesh — but the picture tells another story.

The ED statement

According to our sources in the ED, Sukesh Chandrasekhar, the kingpin of the money laundering racket, had managed to target Jacqueline through one of his partners Leena Maria Paul — an actress who had worked in the 2013-John-Abraham-starrer Madras Café.

“Jacqueline was interrogated for about five hours for the first time, in which she shared some important information with the officials. The investigation also revealed that a top Bollywood actor was targeted by Sukesh. We are not making the name of the Bollywood actor public at the moment as it is a matter of security,” say sources.

The ED investigation is being conducted on the basis of a '200-crore scam case registered by Economic Offenses of the Delhi Police. Sukesh is the main accused in the case. He allegedly extorted '200 crore from the wife of a jailed pharmaceutical company promoter under the pretext of getting him out.

Jacky’s denial

Jacqueline’s PR agency has, however, issued a statement denying that she had any such relationship. “Jacqueline Fernandez is being called to testify as a witness by the ED. She has duly recorded her statements and in future will also be co-operating with the agency in the investigations. Jacqueline categorically denies alleged slanderous statements made about her relationship with the involved couple,” read the statement.

Jacqueline was first questioned in August and again recently in a case related to the '200-crore duping and extortion case.
