Bollywood actors Arjun Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao and Disha Patani have dubbed for the Hindi version of the Amazon show The Boys. Cast as Billy Butcher (played by Karl Urban in the original), Homelander (Antony Starr) and Starlight (Erin Moriarty) respectively, the actors are set to bring their own signature flair to the soon-to-be-launched serial.

For the uninitiated, The Boys is a dark comedy-fantasy series based on the comic book series of the same name by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson.

About giving his voice to the foul-mouthed delightfully-vexed vigilante William ‘Billy’ Butcher, Arjun Kapoor says, “I have been a huge fan of the series. The character of Billy Butcher, much like the series, has a unique charm, wild sarcasm and an impressive character arc.

“It is fascinating to watch Antony Starr as Homelander – an infuriatingly complex character that everyone loves to hate,” comments Rajkummar Rao. He shares that he found dubbing for the ‘Seven’s’ leader extremely exciting. “I hope that the audiences like what I have done with my voice,” he says, fingers crossed.

“Starlight is probably one of the most humane and grounded amongst the Vought army,” says Disha Patani about the sweet, yet powerful character also known as Annie January. “You can’t help but feel for her. Having said that, she’s not to be trifled with, and terrifying when provoked,” she adds.  The series will also be dubbed in Tamil and Telugu.
