Mumbai: The nation woke up to the shocking news of Bollywood actress Sridevi's untimely demise on Sunday. Sridevi passed away after suffering severe cardiac arrest in Dubai.

As the news of Sridevi's death broke on Sunday, many B-town celebrities expressed their condolences. National award winning filmmaker Hansal Mehta revealed that he was planning to approach Sridevi for his film. The director is deeply saddened by the sudden demise of the veteran actress, and has now decided to dedicate the project to her.

Hansal Mehta took to Twitter to share his grief. He wrote,"There will never be another #Sridevi. I was about to approach her for a film. That film will now be dedicated to her. If it finds an actor."

After making her comeback in 2012's successful film 'English Vinglish', Sridevi was seen in 'Mom' last year.
