Aamir Khan opts out of Osho biopic?

Superstar Aamir Khan nailed it when he did a film like Dangal. Since then the perfectionist was offered several biopic projects, but it was the Osho biopic that caught his interest. While Aamir never made it official that he was assigned the project, there were reports about him doing it.

However, now a source close to the actor reveals that Aamir is no longer part of this project. 

According to the source, director Shakun Batra had narrated the story to Aamir a few months ago. “Aamir had really liked the script but he has decided not to do this film for reasons best known to him,” the source says.

While there were reports that the film, based on the controversial Indian godman, Rajneesh aka Osho, has been put on hold, the source reveals Aamir is no longer part of this project. Now the makers will soon start hunting for a new actor for it.
