Roads like Katrina Kaif's cheeks'

A few years ago, an MP had talked about making roads as smooth as then MP Hema Malini’s cheeks and the rest of his colleagues in Rajya Sabha, including Hema Malini, had laughed it off. Perhaps using that as an example, a newly inducted minister in the Rajasthan council of ministers equated the state of roads to actor Katrina Kaif and actor-turned-politician Hema Malini. However, this time, the matter wasn’t laughed off!

Rajendra Singh Gudha, the new Minister of State for Soldier Welfare, Home Guard and Civil Defence and Panchayati Raj and Rural Development in Rajasthan, has landed in a controversy after a video of him making the comment went viral. In the video, Rajendra Singh Gudha is heard saying Katrina Kaif ka gaalan jaayan ki sadak banni chayej [Roads should be made like the cheeks of Katrina Kaif].”

An MLA from Udaipurwati in Jhunjhunu District, Rajendra Singh Gudha is among six MLAs who won the 2018 Assembly elections .on a BSP ticket before switching to Congress.
