Sanya Malhotra is excited about Photograph
The director of Lunch Box, Ritesh Batra has directed the film Photograph at different locations in Mumbai.
Sanya Malhotra is currently enjoying the success of her film Badhai Ho, and will soon be seen next with Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the film Photograph. The actress, who is not allowed to talk about the film much, can’t stop gushing about her co-star.
Sanya says, “When I used to be on sets with Nawaz, watching him act and get into the character was a beautiful learning experience for me. I picked up a lot of things from Nawaz while working. Before every shot he does a facial exercise. It looked weird but now I also do that; it relaxes you. I feel if Nawaz is doing it, I will also do it. He is infectious on sets. It works trust me!”

Talking about the genius of the filmmaker, Sanya says, “I had a lot of fun shooting with Ritesh Batra. I learnt a lot about acting from Ritesh. He is an amazing director. He works with your psychology. He gets into your mind and he subtly, smoothly enters the actor’s world. He used to come up with such interesting things. He is a wonderful person to work with.”
