Sonakshi Sinha in Laal Kaptaan
Laal Kaptaan is billed as an action-thriller, where Saif plays a Naga Sadhu who is out to seek revenge.
Sonakshi Sinha has had a mixed year thus far. While Khandaani Shafakhana and Kalank bombed, the saving grace came in the form of Rs 200 crore grosser Mission Mangal.
And now, the news is out that the actress will have a cameo in the upcoming film Laal Kaptaan starring Saif Ali Khan, Zoya Hussain and Manav Vij. This is the first time Sonakshi will star with Saif in a film.

Produced by Anand L Rai, the film has NH10 and Manorama Six Feet Under director Navdeep Singh wielding the megaphone. The trailer, billed as Chapter One: The Hunt, clearly explains the nature of the film, with the music suggesting that it is a revenge saga,” says a trade source.
Written by Deepak Venkatesha and Navdeep Singh, the film releases on October 18.
While Sonakshi has more mult-istarrer films like Dabangg 3 and Bhuj coming up, Saif has Dil Bechara, Jawaani Jaaneman and Taanaji: The Unsung Warrior coming up, and possibly a third instalment of Sacred Games.
