He may not have had any releases this year, but it hasn’t stopped Abhishek Bachchan from aiming big. The actor, who has been in the news on and off for several other reasons than his films, will be  finally seen back on the screen with Manmarziyaan. A source close to the project reveals that the makers are planning to shoot the first schedule of the movie in Kashmir.

“The first schedule will be widely shot in Kashmir, in February. Abhishek and the rest of the cast will head to Kashmir, and will begin the preparations for that by January. The makers want to capture the snowfall, due to which the first schedule is to be shot in Kashmir,” says the source. Earlier, South actor Dulquer Salmaan was approached for the same role. However, perhaps due to remuneration issues, he couldn’t be a part of the film. Bhumi Pednekar and Ayushmann Khurrana too were supposed to be part of the film, but Taapsee Pannu and Vicky Kaushal stepped into the roles eventually. Manmarziyaan is being directed by Anurag Kashyap and is being produced by Aanand L. Rai.
