Ranveer Singh was recently spotted seeking blessings from a priest on the busy road in Bandra.

Mumbai: Everyone adores Ranveer Singh for his flamboyance and chivalry and he surely knows how to treat people with love and respect. The Padmavati star was recently seen greeting people and seeking blessings from a priest whom he met outside Otters Club in Bandra. While Ranveer looked dapper in his gym wear, people were surprised with his overly convivial gestures.

Ranveer Singh is currently gearing for the release of Padmavati. While the lead actress Deepika Padukone has already started promotions for the movie, Ranveer and Shahid Kapoor are expected to join her soon.

Speaking about his role in Padmavati, Ranveer earlier told a leading publication, "It was a very difficult character to play. I am a people pleaser, admittedly. I like to spread cheer and laughter. I like to keep the atmosphere light – even if it means making stupid jokes and acting silly and crass. But, when I became Alauddin Khilji for the movie, there’s no trace of that person. Some actors are that way, where the external starts to affect the internal."

"At some point during filming, everybody realized that at one point in the morning you’ll have Ranveer and the rest of the day will be Khilji. My whole energy changed. Which is good, because at least I know I’m doing an honest job in the film. But, yeah, I’m almost done now and I have to say what I told myself holds true to some extent. All the darkness has been lived out, it’s been addressed. It’s almost like therapy," The actor added.

The actor was seeking blessings from a priest for the success of Padmavati in which he put tremendous amount of hardwork.

According to the source present at the spot revealed, “The man in the picture is a Pandit from Bandra whom Ranveer has known since his childhood. He bumped into him after such a long time today afternoon and hence sought the blessings.”

Ranveer Singh later interacted with the street kids in the same area who were very excited to see him in person.

Directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali which also stars Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor, Padmavati is slated to release on December 1.
