Alia Bhatt is a force to be reckoned with in the industry at the moment. Be it Udta Punjab, Dear Zindagi or her latest release Raazi, Alia’s sensational performances and the box office collections have all helped raise Alia’s fee.

“Stars never reduce their fees unless they are under great duress like a series of flops. Fees remain stable if their films fair averagely at the box office. But the moment there is a hit, star fees go soaring. Alia is no exception. With a hit like Raazi, Alia is definitely worth the hike. We talk about pay disparity. What better way to diminish it than with Alia’s fee raise?” said a senior trade source.

Even though Alia is charging far less that Bollywood’s Queen Dee Deepika Padukone she is now the second-highest paid actress in the industry.

“Deepika charged Rs 13 crore for her Padmaavat. She gave that film a lot of her time too. And Alia is hot on her heels,” informs the source.
