Before accusations against Shera, Zubair Khan had claimed that people from Salman Khan's team were threatening him.

Mumbai: Salman Khan’s comments against ‘Bigg Boss’ contestant Zubair Khan, alleged son-in-law of Haseena Parkar, has sparked an ugly row that is getting more intense day by day.

After Zubair filed a complaint against Salman for calling him a ‘dog’ and threatening to beat him up on the show, the latter’s bodyguard Shera has now been accused of abusing and threatening to gangrape an activist supporting Zubair in the matter.

The woman alleged that a person called her by introducing himself as Salman’s bodyguard Shera and threatened to settle the matter without going to the cops.

"He told me 'why are you bothering bhai? Why don't you settle the matter?' When I refused, he abused me and threatened to send 10 people to rape me," the woman was reported to have said by mid-day.

She added, "I have submitted all call details to the police, but no strict action has been taken yet."

A police office belonging to Khar police, who have registered a case under Section 509 (word, gesture or act intended to insult the modesty of a woman) of the Indian Penal Code against unknown persons, said, "We are trying to identify the caller.”

Shera, however, denied the accusations against him, "The number from which the call was made is not mine. She has tarnished my reputation."

Shera had previously also been accused of assault by a man later last year, allegations which were also denied by him.

For the unversed, Zubair reportedly consumed an overdose of pills almost two weeks ago in a ‘suicide attempt’ after Salman slammed him for his behaviour on the show.

He was evicted from the show on the basis of audience votes, and later filed a police complaint against Salman and has been on a spree of media interviews demanding an apology from him and threatening to drag him to court.

Salman later reacted to the demand for apology by giving a tongue-in-cheek response, saying he apologises to the dogs for his comments.
