John Abraham to go into action for Satyameva Jayate 2
Milap Zaveri has penned down few exciting scenes with the ‘Action King’ on the streets of Lucknow
When John Abraham plays the lead, action sequences play a pivotal role in the film. Satyameva Jayate 2 is no exception. Milap Zaveri has penned down few exciting scenes with the ‘Action King’ on the streets of Lucknow.
“The backdrop of the story is Lucknow. Thus we have decided to shoot the film there. However certain portions will also be shot in Mumbai for a few days towards the end of our shooting schedule,” says Milap.
Elaborating on the schedule, he says, “On the first day, we will shoot only with the lead pair. John and Divya Khosla Kumar. Subsequently, other actors like Harsh Chhaya, Gautami Kapoor, Shaad Randhawa, Anup Soni, and Sahil Vaid will join us. The schedule of SMJ will continue in Lucknow until January,2021.”
Giving in a sneak peek into the planned locations, Milap says, “We will be shooting across Lucknow, including at heritage structures like palaces and colleges. Some of the locations will be completely sealed off, so crowds cannot sneak in.”
He says the action scenes will be shot on the streets of Lucknow. The director is also full of praise for John for agreeing to shoot in these tough times.
