Jab Shahid Kapoor met Ekta Kapoor

What was cooking at the secret meeting between Shahid Kapoor and Ekta Kapoor earlier this week? The two were part of the film Udta Punjab, which had run into a lot of trouble with the Censors, yet managed to do well despite its average content. Sources inform us that Shahid and Ekta are discussing a movie project.  

“Shahid is not much of a social animal. He only meets his filmmakers when there is work. Shahid, who is shooting for Batti Gul Meter Chalu with Shree Narayan Singh has also committed to Imtiaz Ali, Vishal Bharadwaj and Rakeysh Om Prakash Mehra for films after the success of the Sanjay Leela Bhansali film Padmaavat.

Shahid’s dates are chock-a-block but he is keen on collaborating with Ekta on a new project. Now, whether Ekta will become part of his existing films or offer him a new one remains to be seen,” informs the source.
