Shruti Haasan soon to perform in Troubadour

Mumbai: Actor Shruti Haasan, who is also a well known musician will soon perform in Troubadour, London. It is the same place where global music sensations such as Ed Sheeran and Adele have performed earlier. 

She will perform the acoustic version of her upcoming Extended Play (EP) on January 25.

In the past, Troubadour, has hosted music legend like Bob Dylan, Elton John and Sammy Davis Jr. When contacted, Shruti confirmed the news and said, “Yes. This is correct.  I have been working with a number of well-known producers between the UK and the US to develop an EP which is due for release later this year. I will be premiering the acoustic versions of the tracks that will feature on the EP which I have sung as well as composed myself.”

She goes on to add, “I am determined to pursue my music ambitions with a vengeance this year, which had of late taken a backseat due to my film commitments and my constant shuttling between Chennai and Mumbai.”
