Snapped: Shatrughan Sinha meets Rafael Nadal, felicitates him

Mumbai: Rafael Nadal is currently in the country representing Spain for the Davis Cup World Group match against India.  And Shatrughan Sinha recently met the tennis legend and also felicitated him. He then took to Twitter to share their picture which was also retweeted by his daughter Sonakshi.

Previously, Sinha was also snapped with the entire contingent of the Spanish team and had also conveyed Nadal his best wishes to recover from his wrist injury, because of which he could not play the singles match. Sinha hoped Nadal could step onto the court to entertain numerous of his Indian fans.

The tennis star seems to have got some motivation from Sinha’s tweet as he, along with Marc Lopez, defeated Indian pair of Leander Paes and Saketh Myneni in the doubles match.

With the win, Spain has beaten India in the World Group play off after David Ferrer and Feliciano Lopez won their respective matches against Indian opponents.
