Sonam cut fee for Neerja: Atul Kasbekar

Ace lensman Atul Kasbekar has turned film producer with the Sonam Kapoor starrer Neerja. Sonam, incidentally, is one of the clients Atul handles under his talent management company, Bling Entertainment.
We hear that the actress reduced her fees for Neerja — one of the factors that helped Atul keep costs low on the film. “Yes, Sonam reduced her fee for Neerja,” Atul Kasbekar confirmed. “There is no other way this movie could have been made.” At special screenings of the film, and after its trailer was unveiled, the word in the industry is that this may very well be Sonam Kapoor’s most stellar performance to date, and may even bag her a coveted award or two.
