Mumbai: Amitabh Bachchan has been spotted cheering for the Kabaddi team owned by his son Abhishek Bachchan and the megastar seems to be an avid follower of the sport.

When the Indian team recently beat Argentina in the Kabaddi World Cup by a huge margin of 74-20, Bachchan took to Twitter expressing his happiness and congratulating the team. But in the same tweet, he expressed his unhappiness at some of the ‘disgusting’ comments that belittled the victory.

In a strongly-worded tweet, the megastar dismissed comments stating that the scoreline would have been the reverse in football. He also asked Twitteratti to stop negative comparisons regarding the nation's sports and instead appreciate the achievements of the team and be proud of India.

It's a bit unusual for Bachchan to write such tweets, but when he does so, people are bound to take note of it.
