Salman Khan, who was to start shooting for the film Guns of North, may have had a change of mind.

He had greenlighted three other films before the lockdown, and our sources say two of them may now go on the floors earlier than planned, because of Salman’s focus on Kick 2.

The film is the sequel to Kick, Sajid Nadiawala’s directorial debut, which handed Salman a `200 crore film.

“Apart from directing it, Sajid bhai is also producing Kick 2. He is also the producer of Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali starring Salman and directed by Farhad Samji. Another film that Salman was to do was Guns of North with Aayush Sharma. So, if Kick 2 is on the horizon and there is talk about him doing another big film now, we are not sure where the Aayush and Farhad films will fit into the scheme of things immediately. So they may be pushed for later,” says an industry source.

Apparently, the actor went in for a lot of introspection about his life and career during the lockdown.

“While his friends normally do not give him advice and he is the one giving all the ‘gyaan’ based on his experience, Salman did listen to some opinions of those who were with him at the Panvel farmhouse and has decided to do two franchise films first,” add the sources.

First, however, the 54-year-old actor has to wrap up the shoot of Radhe at Mehboob Studios whenever he decides to return to a film set.
