Mr and Mrs DeepVeer are basking in the band, baaja and baraat aftermath. And while fans wait for the first glimpse of the couple, and the media goes into overdrive about the ceremonies, we take a look at what has transpired. There were reports that the couple had asked their friends to stay away from gifting, instead the guests were asked to contribute to the Live Love Laugh Foundation which is very close to Deepika’s heart. 

There were also reports that the wedding photographs would be auctioned for charity towards the foundation. But according to our sources, there will be no auctioning of pictures for charity. As the couple who are officially man and wife celebrate with near and dear ones at Lake Como, the Sindhi style wedding, we heard, was filled with much emotion, and tears of joy. 

The fan pages of Ranveer and Deepika have been renamed as ‘Ladkewale’ and ‘Ladkiwale’, and even her sister Anisha has named her page as Ladkiwale. Post their wedding on November 14, there was an amazing display of fireworks and much fanfare, according to sources. Even as reports emerged that Farah Khan had gifted the couple personalised hand impressions of themselves, the latest news is that the photographs that the whole world is awaiting with bated breath will be released later on Thursday evening. 

According to a source Shubha Mudgal performed a thumri and Deepika Padukone got emotional, and was in tears. When she broke down, Ranveer, who could understand her emotional state, walked up to her and hugged her tightly and consoled his lady love. He ensured she was smiling again with all his crazy love antics.

After a brief honeymoon, the couple plans to return to India and will have a grand reception for friends in the film fraternity at the Grant Hyatt in Mumbai on November 28 and a reception in Bengaluru too.
