Despite camaraderie on Bigg Boss, Akshay, Salman still share 'strained relations'

That things are not hunky-dory between Akshay Kumar and Salman Khan is the buzz in Bollywood right now. It all started when Salman and Akshay joined hands with Karan Johar for a proposed historical epic on the Battle of Saragarhi.

When Salman fell out with Karan over his brother-in-law Ayush’s  launch as a leading man (Karan apparently declined to produce Ayush’s launch film after agreeing to do so), Salman expected Akshay also to bow out of the Saragarhi project. When, however; the Rustom actor expressed a willingness to continue his partnership with Karan,  Salman was deeply wounded.

To add insult to injury Akshay decided to employ the services of Salman’s former business manager Reshma Shetty, although Salman sacked her unceremoniously. Sources close to both the superstars say their relations are at the moment are “pretty strained”. However, Akshay shared the stage with Salman on national television for the Bigg Boss finale; but without his new business manager Reshma Shetty in tow. She has discreetly decided to stay out of Salman Khan’s range of vision.
