Despite Force 2 and Rocky Handsome failure, John to be paid 11 crore for RAW?

Mumbai: On Saturday, news broke out that John Abraham has replaced Sushant Singh Rajput in ‘Romeo Akbar Walter’ (‘RAW’).

A day later, reports claim that John has already taken his stocks to a new high by demanding 12 crore for the film, note, despite giving two back-to-back flops in ‘Rocky Handsome’ and ‘Force 2’.

A source told DNA, “John was apparently asking for 12 crore, but the makers allegedly got him to lock the deal at around 11 crore.”

A trade source argues, “How can someone pay John that much for a film? His last two solo movies — ‘Force 2’ and ‘Rocky Handsome’ — came unstuck at the box office. Adding 11 crore to the budget is absolutely ridiculous.”

John reportedly got ‘RAW’ because of Ajay Kapoor, who has already collaborated with the actor on John’s upcoming release ‘Parmanu: The Story Of Pokhran’.
