What’s cooking between Varun and Kiara?

Varun Dhawan and Kiara Advani were spotted together after a long time. The two, who were last seen in the movie Kalank in the song Baki sab first class hai, were to be working together in the Shashank Khaitan narrative Mr Lele along with Bhumi Pednekar.

However, the script was apparently not good enough for Karan and Varun to get on. So the team decided to take some more time to wrap the script before moving ahead with the filming.

But now, according to sources, Varun and Kiara were spotted on Friday at the old Dharma Productions office together.

“Their presence together also signalled that they could have gone to meet Shashank about the same film,” says the source.

“However, neither Varun nor Kiara gave any indication of what transpired at the meeting or how it went, for they walked out in their respective masks, and it was hard to tell if they were exhilarated or disappointed.”

In a fresh development, however, other sources say that the two came to meet director Raj Mehta, who had directed Kiara in Good Newwz. Mehta is supposedly planning a story with Varun and Kiara along with Anil Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor.

“Producer Karan Johar who is already doing Mr Lele has taken dates from both Varun and Kiara along with Anil, who is to work in Takht. The Raj Mehta story will allow them to proceed with the new idea, which can be shot at the earliest,” says a trade source.
