Even as his daughter Athiya Shetty is moving ahead in Bollywood and son Ahaan Shetty is making his debut in the Hindi remake of RX100, Suniel Shetty is now gearing up to further his comeback in films in a big way with the third installment of Hera Pheri.

“We are all moving ahead and it will start soon. We want the film to roll in 2019 and release by 2020. Feroz Nadiadwala and all of us are working hard to make the film happen,” says Suniel.

The third installment of Hera Pheri was announced a few years back. Then it was re-announced with a new cast and the film was put on hold after the death of the writer-director Neeraj Vora.

But now Suniel, Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal are back in the team reprising their roles of Shyam, Raju and Babubhai again.

Suniel meanwhile feels that times are changing. “There are films like Badhaai Ho, Bareilly Ki Barfi and Andhadhun does well. If a film like Yeh Tera Ghar Yeh Mera Ghar had released now, it would have done so well. In those days, people didn’t like it if I did not beat up someone, spill blood and show my biceps. But I did the films that I wanted with the kind of people I was working with and have no regrets. That is what I want Ahaan and Athiya to understand – you never fail, you only learn,” says the actor.

“We are creating a world of happiness. We are giving importance to small cities and towns and these films are uniting India and giving a peek of what happens there to people living in the cities and they seem to be loving it as well,” says the actor about the changing trend of cinema.
