Mumbai: on Wednesday, Iron lady of cinema,Kangana Ranaut, who was recently in news for her tragic accident on the sets of  'Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi',where she sustained a major cut on her forehead while shooting a fight scene, finally addressed the burning issue of writing credits fued she has been embroiled in with Apurva Asrani.

The actress was here to launch the trailer of her upcoming film 'Simran' by Hansal Mehta. She defines it as a "coming-of-age, light-hearted take on people who dare to dream big" kind of film.

While interacting with the media, questions of the infamous feud of writer Apurva Asrani with Kangana Ranaut, over crediting her as the co-writer of the film was popped up, and the 'Queen' actress sportingly answered it.

Kangana spoke about it once and for all.

She clarified saying, "There are a lot of misconceptions about it. There are no dues pending."

She went on to further add that it was Apurva, who suggested that she takes the co-writer credit.

"We have done the way he wanted it. He suggested that I take co-writing credit," added Kangana. We worked on the schedule together."

Kagana thinks that Apurva took advantage of her low phase and attacked her to gain his 'two-minutes of fame.'

"After many months of working together, he decided to write this post. After Rangoon flopped and two-three people attacked me. He wrote it in a very bad taste, he planned of writing this letter and was very deliberate," concluded the 'Tanu Weds Manu' actress.

For the uninitiated, Apurva Asrani, had accused the makers of 'Simran' for not giving him his due as a writer.

He had taken the Facebook route to share his disagreement on this matter.
