Rajkumar Hirani was initially being pinpointed as the man who would come back with Shah Rukh Khan in his next project. But as it stands now, Hirani is working on three projects.

With Virat Kohli being the flavour of the season, and a biopic on Dhoni paving a way for the film on the ’83 world cup triumph, Hirani is not just working on a Lala Amarnath biopic written by Piyush Gupta and Neeraj Singh, but another cricket story was written by Abhijat Joshi. There is also the buzz on him getting dates from Shah Rukh Khan in April for one of these projects.
“After being named in the #MeToo scandal, Hirani has been keeping a low profile, but he did meet the big bosses at Netflix along with Farah Khan and many other filmmakers that the OTT platform aspires to work with. Hirani will be announcing these projects very soon,” says our source.
