Exclusive: Madhuri Dixit Nene wants no mention in Sanjay Dutt biopic

Mumbai: Preparations for Rajkumar Hirani’s biopic on Sanjay Dutt, starring Ranbir Kapoor, are going on in full swing with Ranbir, alongside Dia Mirza and Vicky Kaushal have already begun shooting for the anticipated flick.

Interestingly, the most curious incidents of Sanjay’s life, his alleged affair with Madhuri Dixit Nene,  was to be in the movie too. However, sources say that episode is no longer in the script, courtesy Madhuri herself.

A source says, “Initially, the affair was part of the biopic. But when Madhuri got to know about it, she quickly rushed to Rajkumar asking him to remove it. Their relationship is one of the most highlighted part of Sanjay’s life, but considering the actress’ current stature, she disapproved of it. Left with no option, Hirani had to eliminate it from the film.”

The movie also stars Anushka Sharma and Sonam Kapoor as the leading ladies.
