Arjun Kapoor takes to beach cleaning
The actor went to clean-up Carter Road beach with 1000 youths, but was kept from doing too much work by a horde of fans.
Arjun Kapoor, along with 1000 youths, came over to Carter Road beach in Mumbai and started cleaning it up. While we have not seen many stars cleaning up this beach, Arjun also managed to get his hands dirty in the process.
“People love the environment and care about it. These are good Samaritans. Looking at the way a lot of kids are waiting to clean, but have not been allowed for security reasons, it is a message that we should give back to the environment. Weather is unpredictable due to human behaviour. If we have made the mistakes, it is good to make the change ourselves,” he says.
However, a horde of fans made it impossible for Arjun to do more work. “I guess the work slowed down after I came,” smiles Arjun. “But then it is good that we are able to convey the message to more people,” he adds.
