Akshay Kumar and Salman Khan are all set for a battle at the turnstiles, with both Laxmmi Bomb and Radhe releasing on Eid 2020. Akshay’s film Sooryavanshi had backed out of the clash due to a compromise formula between Salman and producer Rohit Shetty. Akshay’s fans went berserk and were upset with Rohit, and Akshay had to intervene and ask his fans to not to abuse Rohit.

When Housefull 4 released, there was a Twitter trend #Housefull4FakeCollections, which is believed to be started by Salman’s fans over the alleged cold war between Akshay and Salman. “Their cold war began when Salman pulled out of Kesari as a producer after announcing the project. Salman left the film when he realised that Ajay Devgn wanted to do a film on the same subject, and even tried to reach out to him earlier, but his team didn’t inform him. First Sooryavanshi was pitted opposite Inshallah, after which Sooryavanshi was preponed and Inshallah was shelved,” says a source.

While any of John Abraham’s films are not clashing with Akshay’s this year, Akshay seems to have found a new bete noire.
