Sonakshi Sinha planning on launching her own clothing line
Sonakshi Sinha, who was a student of fashion designing, will launch her own clothing line called 'Asli Sona'.
Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha is going back to her fashion designing roots and is planning to launch her own clothing line.
The 28-year-old, who walked the ramp for designer Anita Dongre at the recent fashion week, said that destiny brought her to acting, but designing clothes had always piqued her interest more. A little known fact about the star is that she had graduated in the field of fashion designing, before pursuing a career in films.
Sonakshi was quoted as saying, "Destiny had different plans for me and acting happened. But designing has always been at the back of my mind. Acting is a profession which is co-related to fashion. It is a part of my everyday job. I might be getting back to designing soon.”
The actress has also thought of a name for her clothing line- Asli Sona, which is also happens to be her name on her Instagram account.
If her designing stint does pull through, she will join a long line of celebs like Alia Bhatt, Kangana Ranaut, Karan Johar, Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone and Malaika Arora Khan to name a few, who have their own fashion labels.
On the work front, Sonakshi will be seen next in action packed films like 'Akira' and 'Force 2’.
