Disha Patani to romance Aditya Roy Kapur onscreen

Actress Disha Patani has been signed opposite Aditya Roy Kapur in Mohit Suri’s untitled next, which will be produced by Luv Ranjan.

The lead pair already has a few meaty projects in their kitty this year. While Disha will soon be seen in the Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif-starrer Bharat, Aditya Roy Kapur’s next big-ticket film Kalank stars Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Sanjay Dutt and Madhuri Dixit-Nene in pivotal roles, with Sonakshi Sinha as his love interest.

Their next film with Suri, will bring the two actors together on-screen for the first time and was initially billed as Aditya’s reunion with his Ashiqui 2 director. “The film is based on the drug mafia in Goa and Disha is billed to play the heroine in the film where she will be a dancer,” informs the source, adding that Disha was actually not the director’s first choice, “Suri was contemplating casting Shraddha Kapoor, but  her dates are packed now as she is doing the dance film with Varun Dhawan.”

Disha has been in the news lately for watching a NBA game between the Lakers and LA Clippers and for copy pasting a social media post without reading it properly. Thankfully, she will make news because of her work now.
