Exclusive: Tabu visiting Dutt biopic set to check on her character's portrayal?
Tabu was reportedly involved with Sanjay and is hence eager to know how her character is shaping up.
Mumbai: Sanjay Dutt’s name was romantically linked to several actresses during his early days in the film industry and with his frequent collaborator Rajkumar Hirani making a biopic on his life, several of those relationships could find a mention in the film.
Apparently, Tabu is also one of them and a character based on her has already been incorporated in the film. And according to our reliable sources, Tabu has been visiting the sets of the film regularly to keep an eye on how her character is being portrayed in the film.
A source told Deccan Chronicle, “Sanjay Dutt and Tabu were going around for some time and a character based on her is a part of the script. Her part is played by a newcomer but she is shown as a close friend and not a lover. However, Tabu has been visiting the sets regularly and it seems that she is keen to know how her character is being played on screen.”
Apart from Ranbir Kapoor, who plays Sanjay Dutt, the film also stars Anushka Sharma and Sonam Kapoor. While Anushka plays a journalist, Sonam is also reportedly one of the actresses involved with Dutt.
According to reports, the film is gearing up for release this Christmas and is set to clash with Salman Khan’s ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’.
