Varun Dhawan thinks his 'Dulhania' Alia Bhatt will make a 'good bahu'

Mumbai: Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt recently launched the trailer of their upcoming film, 'Badrinath Ki Dulhania' along with Karan Johar. It was a colorful event where both the stars not only danced on the stage but also interacted with their fans.

Varun who looked dapper in his traditional outfit praised his co-star Alia by calling her a perfect daughter-in-law. He said, "I think Alia will make a good bahu as she is good with parents."

After hearing this the actress couldn't resist asking what about her role as a wife, to which Varun jokingly replied, "I can't say."

Varun not only praised his co-star but also shared his experience playing the role of Badrinath. "I'm very nervous. It feels like my first film. Badri is a very special character. I consumed a lot of alcohol during the film. This film has been more emotional than other films of mine."

Bubbly Alia too spoke about her character; she said, "Vaidehi is not a shy girl at all. She's domesticated, she'll make for a good bahu, like Varun mentioned earlier, but she's not shy at all- she's very outspoken." Of course, Alia had another important point to make as she added, "I'm the intelligent one in the film."

'Badrinath Ki Dulhania' will release on March 10.
