Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 To Come South

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 was arguably the biggest hit of Bollywood last year. Reports have been circulating for some time that the Anees Bazmee directorial starring Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani may be remade for the South, because of the universal appeal of the plot. And now we learn that producer Gnanavel Raja has bagged the film’s remake rights.

Gnanavel Raja, who was vying for the rights along with a few others, confirmed the development when contacted, but refused to divulge details. “Yes, I have purchased the Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 south remake rights,” he said. “I believe it’s a nice story to be told here with a different spin. I am currently in the process of finalising the cast and crew. I haven’t zeroed in on anyone yet.”
