Shah Rukh Khan goes Sanki

Shah Rukh Khan fans who have heard rumours about the actor announcing his new film on his birthday, have already been trending the word #Sanki, especially after they heard that Khan’s next film with Tamil director Atlee will be an action film with a hot-headed man as the lead character.

It was being rumoured that SRK will be making the announcement until Harish Shankar broke the news of Atlee doing the film. Atlee later confirmed in an #AskAtlee session that they did have a talk regarding a film and hopefully something would happen soon.

“They wanted a title about a man who had a short temper and a lot of things that came out of him would be a result of his immediate anger. That would often land him in trouble as well. The makers wanted a title like Mental, but that is with Salman Khan, who wanted to first name Jai Ho with that title. So they decided on Sanki after a deliberation, keeping in mind that the Judgementall  Hai Kya makers had to later change the title due to complaints,” says an industry source.

Whether the film will be called Sanki and whether SRK will announce the film and the title on his birthday, remains to be seen.
