John Abraham’s Batla House will go on floors soon. The film will be competed in one stretch of shooting schedule informs one of the producers Madhu Bhojwani. “Nikhil Advani looks into the creative side of film making. We have been together for almost seven years now. I am Monisha’s [Nikhil’s sister] friend and since the time we decided to close down our corporate company and me being Nikhil’s childhood friend, we decided to venture into film making with Nikhil who is well versed in creative field. We look into the other technical aspects of film making,” she said.

Madhu also spoke about her experience on working with John Abraham in Satyameva Jayate. She says, “In fact more than anything else John is a wonderful human being to work with. He always likes to lend his ears to others as well. I remember after the film ‘Satyameva Jayate’ was completed, he did not pass his judgment all alone. Instead he called his entire team and jointly asked for their opinion. Having been in the industry as a hero, he does not have any airs at all. Also being grounded, he loves to hear from one and all.”

Adding that she was in awe of John, Bhojwani says, “I had watched his film ‘Salaam-E-Ishq’ as it was directed by Nikhil Advani. I liked his films and also watched ‘Dostana’. The first time when I met him for ‘Satyameva Jayate’, I was wondering what the meeting will be like? To my surprise John was very welcoming that we did not feel as if we are meeting him for the first time. John has made consistency in his relationship with one and all. Nobody can ever talk bad about him at all. He gives sensible amount of hearing to what you may contribute while in discussions for getting into the making of a film. John has a democratic approach which is really appealing and interesting to note.”

Giving away a sneak peek about the locations for film Batla House, Madhu confirms, “We plan to beginning shooting by October last or beginning of November 2018. The locations as per our plan are Mumbai, Delhi, Lucknow, Massourrie and Nepal as well. We plan to wrap up the film sometimes in January 2019.We are hopeful to go by our plans. We are also planning Batla House for a 2019 release.”

About the intriguing tale of Batla House, she adds, “It is indeed the tale of the man who was the centre of controversy, is inspired by true events that happened way back in the 2008. Everything is in the public domain. The opinion was divided about the students whether they have been framed or they were the actual students caught in the encounter. Nikhil has been very excited ever since we have decided to make a film on Batla House. He has done loads of research for the writing work. It has been three years since Nikhil has been involved in the writing of this script. Nikhil has been in touch with people to know the exact date and the events as well. As to how the events were transpired, also keeping the date line close to when t had happened.”

Lastly, on her experience working with J.A Entertainment, Madhu says, “Our production house and John’s production house indeed we have had a marriage of minds as we are in sync making films on subjects which is definitely the kind of cinema we believe in. We are also subsequently planning some more announcements ahead, which will be soon made by us.”
