Mumbai: The trailer of Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s ambitious film ‘Mirzya’ was out in June and the first song, the title track of the film, is finally out after more than three months.

The song, rendered by Daler Mehndi, Sain Zahoor, Akhtar Chinnal, Nooran Sisters, has been composed by Shankar Ehsaan Loy and penned by Gulzar.

The film is based on the popular Punjabi tragedy Mirza Sahiban and the lyrics of this song are in Punjabi. The song is complemented by visuals of folk dances by the villagers.

The song captures different looks of Harshvardhan Kapoor’s character, as a warrior fighting in the war, in modern clothes riding on a motorcycle and also of his childhood moments, all of them along with Saiyami Kher’s character. He is playing a double role in the film.
