Bigg Boss 20: Netizens Slam Mary Kom Over ‘Fat’ Remark Against Rhiti Tiwari

The first and foremost controversy revolves around five-time world boxing champion Mary Kom, who allegedly body-shamed fellow contestant Rhiti Tiwari by calling her “fat.”

Mary Kom and Rhiti Tiwari have not been on good terms since the beginning.

In the latest episode, Kom appeared to be annoyed with Tiwari as she took a considerable amount of time to prepare tea for herself.

According to Kom, the singer should have prepared the tea faster and then moved on to complete the other tasks.

Later, in another segment while sitting in the bedroom with two other contestants, the boxer was allegedly seen body-shaming Rhiti Tiwari.

She later called the singer “fat” and also commented that she does not dress well.

Meanwhile, Mary Kom’s remarks against Rhiti Tiwari have sparked a backlash among netizens. Several users expressed disappointment, saying they did not expect such comments from a world champion. Some social media users called out Kom’s remarks, with one reaction reading, “At least, not expected from her.” A text accompanying a video of the incident also criticised the boxer, calling out the act of body-shaming a fellow contestant on national television as “such a shame.”
