Balakrishna’s Akhanda 2: Thaandavam Locks Netflix OTT Release Date

Balakrishna’s Akhanda 2: Thaandavam has finally locked its OTT release date. The film is all set to stream on Netflix from January 9, 2026.

Written and directed by Boyapati Sreenu, the film was released in theatres on December 12, 2025, in 3D, 2D, and EPIQ formats. After its theatrical run, the fantasy action drama will make its digital debut on Netflix on January 9, 2026.

The film is produced by Ram Achanta, Ishan Saksena, and Gopi Achanta under the banners of 14 Reels Plus Entertainment and IVY Entertainment.

The cast includes Samyuktha, Aadhi Pinisetty, Kabir Duhan Singh, Harshaali Malhotra, Saswata Chatterjee, and others in prominent roles. The film reportedly grossed Rs 120 Cr at the box-office. It has incurred losses to the tune of Rs 40 Cr as per BO trackers.

Balakrishna's next movie is directed by Gopichand Malineni. It will be his 111th movie.
